macOS Catalina and up

basICColor Compatibility macOS Catalina up to Sequoia

Since Apple´s new operating system, macOS Catalina is 64bit only, all basICColor software has been programmed from scratch and thus is fully compatible with Catalina and up to Sequoia under Rosetta 2.

MacBook Pro 2021 with Liquid Retina XDR display can only be calibrated with Monterey 12.3 and up, we recommend to update to the latest macOS, at least Monterey 12.6. All XDR display require special calibration – see basICColor display manual.

Other external monitors hooked up to these computers are fully supported by basICColor display 6 (Pro).
